Adam Kaufman, Ph.D., General Manager, dLife Healthcare Solutions, is a pioneer of technology and media solutions that drive patient behavior change and promote improved outcomes and reduced healthcare utilization. He has directly led the development, rollout and evaluation of solutions currently used by dozens of healthcare organizations that touch tens of thousands of patients daily. he combines a unique expertise in program design, with health economics and a keen insight into what drives value based healthcare.
Kaufman received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Upon graduating, he received a Fulbright Scholarship for work and study in Mexico. he completed his Ph.D. in Applied Economics with a focus on micro-economic models of health behavior choice from the University of Southern California. he has been an invited speaker and blogger for a number of prestigious organizations including Health 2.0, The Care Continuum Alliance, and the Center for Connected Health. From 2009 to 2011 he was also an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Southern California, teaching both Econometrics and Health Economics.
